HOW IT ALL STARTED…
Frank a southern California, Los Angeles native decided to become his friends and family barber since 2008. Not knowing what life after high school was going be like, he continued to provide services to people he knew. As time pass, his talent and experience grew, more and more he gained a solid customer base and eventually came to conclusion..
“…If I can do 2 haircuts an hour, at $10 each, I got myself a $20 an hour job, Hell yeah…” - Frank.
He decided to expand his knowledge by attending barber school and in no time, he grew into his local community and his talents naturally came upon himself, leading him to want more than just cutting behind the barber chair.
After completing barber school, he became a certified licensed barber instructor. He worked at 2 local barber colleges, during his 6 years of teaching full time and cutting hair part-time, he found his passion for helping others succeed as a professional barber and most importantly succeeding in life. With his first child and growing family of his own, he decided to leave teaching behind and began is life long dream of becoming a business owner. Frank aka “Norbitz” opened Norbitz Barber Co. to help make a change within the urban community, by providing barber students with a space to succeed in the barber community, giving them hands-on-experience and life experience as an independent own business.
